Sulis Guides
Sulis Guides are South West Tourism registered Blue Badge Guides offering
walking, car and coach tours. Whilst we are West Country specialists,
Sulis Guide offer tours throughout Great Britain.
At the request of our clients, Sulis Guides provide tailor made tours
for individuals, groups and conference delegates. In addition Sulis Guides
are experienced conference organisers and will make the necessary arrangements
to ensure meetings run smoothly. |

Agency
Sulis Guides act as agents in contracting on your behalf with the proprietors
of hotels, restaurants, visitor attractions and transport services for
the provision of and payment for the services offered by such persons
whose general and particular contractual terms and conditions apply. |

Descriptions
All descriptions provided in itineraries are given in good faith and are
believed to be accurate at the date the tour itinerary is prepared. However,
Sulis Guides can not accept responsibility for any variation made after
that date, which is beyond our control. In addition no responsibility
is accepted by Sulis Guides for the negligence and wrongful acts or contractors
and suppliers concerned involved or any breaches of contract by them. |

Changes to Tours
Sulis Guides will make every effort to adhere to the agreed tour itinerary.
In the rare circumstances that we have to make alterations to the tour,
we undertake to inform the client, or their travel agent as soon as possible.
If a tour is booked through a travel agent, then Sulis Guides will work
through that travel agency, who will respond on behalf on their clients.

Deposits
Deposits for tours are taken in advance when pre-booking of hotel accommodation,
transport services or restaurants requires pre-payment. The amount of deposit
will vary dependent on the tour but Sulis Guides will set out payments clearly
at an early stage when developing a tour. In the case of advance payments,
all monies pre-paid are held on deposit until the conclusion of the tour. |

Payment
Any balance or full payments will be due after the conclusion of the tour.
Payment will be by invoice and our terms are nett over 15 days. Cheques
(Stirling only) should be made payable to Sulis Guides. |

Cancellations
Sulis Guides operates the following cancellation policy. A cancellation
becomes effective on the date it is received in writing and the following
cancellation charges will come into effect. If a tour is cancelled 28
days or less before it is due to start Sulis Guides will retain 50% of
the fee. If it is cancelled 48 hours or less prior to the start time then
Sulis Guides retain the full fee. Sulis Guides will invoice the client
or their travel agency accordingly. If payment for any hotel, transportation,
theatre or other bookings have been made on behalf of the client, then
Sulis Guides will make every effort to obtain a refund whose general and
particular contractual terms and conditions apply. In the unlikely event
that this is not possible then these costs will be charged to the client. |

Insurance
Sulis Guides accept no responsibility for cancellation, lost luggage,
medical expenses, etc. We recommend that you take out full insurance to
cover these eventualities for the period you are away from home. Any baggage
and personal effects shall at all times and in all circumstances be at
the owner's risk. |

Complaints
If you have cause for complaint, you should notify Sulis Guides immediately
if possible and every effort will be made to rectify the situation. Any
other complaints should be notified in writing within 10 days of the end
of the tour and we will make every effort to reach an amicable settlement.
If you have not contacted Sulis Guides within this time, then you will have
been taken to have waived any claim that you may have had against Sulis
Guides. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. |
